One Health: Psittacine Conservation Medicine, Humans, Behavior, and Welfare

This emerging interdisciplinary scientific field, One Health, is tackling the critical questions that we at The Dog Door are working so hard to explore and apply to our practice of working with dogs and people in the modern age.  These well researched perspectives on the effect of the environment on mental and behavioral health are still grossly unrecognized by our society, to great detriment.  This movement mirrors The Dog Doors Drive Initiative whose mission is to integrate the wisdom of modern sciences from a holistic comprehension into the public perception of their pet dog, as well as their own, behavioral and psychological health.  Read more here.
