This is a great read from the New York Times on scientific research related to canine neurology and intelligence. A research team, using MRI scans of dog’s brains, was able to use maps of brain activity to reveal activity in the caudate, an indicator of canine emotion. This kind of canine science is key to further developing the evolution of the human and dog relationship, which will ultimately lead us to a better understanding of dog behavior and canine cognition. We love this stuff!  Read it here.
